"The London Silkwomen of the Fifteenth Century"

Abstract
In giving some account of the London silkwomen it is the purpose of this article to illustrate the usual practices among female I participants in trade and industry at this time, and to show that although this mistery was not recognized as a definite gild, it was pursued on the lines of the craft gilds of male workers.
